Informal interviews with teachers

Teachers are generally available to assist with, or discuss any problems that might arise concerning the welfare of your child. Following these procedures will minimize disruption during the school day.

  1. Should a parent need to speak with a teacher during class time the Principal must be approached first to gain permission.
  2. If the problem is minor, requiring a brief answer, teachers may be seen any time before 8.50am or after school 3.00pm.
  3. If a long conversation is needed an appointment should be made at a mutually convenient time with the classroom teacher.
  4. If the problem is of a major nature, the Principal must be approached first. The Principal will then organize the necessary action to be taken.

Parent interviews

Parent/teacher interviews are offered twice a year – Term 1 and Term 3.  Parents/carers are encouraged to attend these interviews. However, if you wish to speak to your child's class teacher about their progress, academic, social or behavioral, feel free to make an appointment time that will suit both parties.
